This course teaches you how to think about AI — how to assess it, govern it, and use it responsibly — so what you learn stays relevant. It's also accredited by ScreenSkills and aligned with the UK government's national AI skills frameworks, which most AI courses for production aren't.

Everyone — runners, producers, post staff, execs. No AI background needed. It takes about an hour and gives you a solid, shared understanding of AI in production. Both courses are certified.

Level 1 is the foundation — what AI is, how it works, and the basics of responsible use. Level 2 goes deeper into tool assessment, risk, governance, and practical application across production workflows. Film and TV are covered in separate modules, and you can certify in film, TV, or both depending on your focus. Level 1 is a prerequisite for Level 2.

ScreenSkills is the industry skills body for the UK's screen sectors. Their accreditation means they've reviewed the course content and confirmed it meets their standards for accessibility, alignment with industry needs, and quality of learning. It's an accreditation that carries weight with employers, commissioners, and funders.

Both levels are certified, and there are four certificates available in total. Level 1 awards a certified introduction to Responsible AI in Film & TV Production. Level 2 offers three routes depending on your focus — you can certify in film production, TV production, or both. So you choose the path that matches the work you actually do.
