1 hour · Self-paced · 5-10 minute lessons · Certificate on completion
The starting point for everyone in production — no AI background needed. In about an hour, you'll come away with a clear picture of what AI actually is, where it's already showing up in the industry, and what responsible use looks like in practice.

- The principles of responsible AI use in a production context
- A shared language for talking about AI with your team and clients

Common questions
Don't see your question? Reach us directly.
Yes. Broadcasters, distributors, and financiers can reference AIMICI certification as a condition or recommendation in their commissions, funding agreements, or supplier requirements. Contact us to discuss how to formalise this for your productions.
It is the only AI course in the screen industry to be ScreenSkills accredited — validated by the sector's own skills body as meeting the standard for AI literacy in film and TV.
The training is competency-based, not tool-based — learners demonstrate they can think about AI critically and apply it responsibly, rather than just learn to use a specific product.
At under an hour per level, it's short enough to set as a realistic requirement across a whole organisation or production, without the cost or time commitment of longer qualifications.
It is also developed in alignment with the Alan Turing Institute and Skills England AI skills frameworks — cross-sector standards that mean the qualification carries weight beyond the screen industry.
Yes. On completion, learners receive an AIMICI certificate bearing the ScreenSkills accreditation mark. Unlike self-directed education, or expensive workshops, this is certified, structured training, and the certificate is the proof. For teams, a full set of certificates can be provided to insurers, commissioners, or funders as evidence that your people have recent, accredited AI competency training. Certificates can also be shared individually with employers or added to a LinkedIn profile.
Yes — we work with educators to embed AIMICI training into existing curricula. Cohort pricing is available for academic institutions, and we can discuss integration with your programme structure. Get in touch to talk through your requirements.
Each learner gets their own account with individual login, progress tracking, and certificates. You manage the cohort or group from a simple dashboard — adding or removing passes as your numbers change.
Plans start from 2 passes, though our best rates apply from 10 upwards. To buy passes individually go to platform.aimici.co.uk/training to find out more.
We typically have groups set up within 48 hours of confirming an order. For larger organisations or academic cohorts, we'll agree a rollout timeline that suits your schedule.
Passes are purchased in bulk — you buy a set number upfront and distribute them to your learners. For larger groups or ongoing needs, get in touch and we can discuss a custom arrangement.
You can top up at any time by purchasing additional passes. If you anticipate your numbers growing, mention it in your enquiry and we can factor that into your quote.
No, ScreenSkills member discounts only apply to purchases for individuals.
All courses are online and self-paced e-learning — a mix of video lessons, guided reading, and knowledge checks. Learners can start and stop anytime and access the material on any device.
