What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to the site operator. Cookies can be "session" cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain on your device for a set period.

Who We Are

The data controller for cookies set on this service is AIMICI (UK). If you have questions about our use of cookies, contact us at privacy@aimici.co.uk.

How We Use Cookies

Essential Cookies

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested). These cookies cannot be disabled.

  • appSession — Maintains your login session so you can navigate the platform securely. Set by our authentication provider Auth0 (Okta). Expires after 24 hours.
  • aimici_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie preferences so we can respect your choices. Expires after 1 year.

Analytics Cookies (Optional)

Legal basis: Consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). These cookies are only set after you accept analytics cookies using the panel above. You can withdraw your consent at any time by returning to this page and toggling analytics cookies off.

With your consent, we use the following analytics tools. The full list of cookies each tool sets is shown in the preferences panel above.

Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand how users navigate the service so we can improve it. Data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session behaviour (scrolling, clicks) to help us identify usability issues. Data is processed by Microsoft Corporation and may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

Leadfeeder (Dealfront) — identifies which companies visit the AIMICI website by matching visitor IP addresses against business databases. This helps us understand our potential B2B audience. A persistent cookie (_lfa) is set on your device to distinguish individual sessions. Data is processed by Dealfront GmbH and stored on servers in the European Union. See Leadfeeder's Privacy Policy.

International Data Transfers

When you accept analytics cookies, data about your use of the service is transferred to Google LLC and Microsoft Corporation in the United States. These transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office. You can opt out at any time using the preferences panel above.

Third-Party Cookies

Our authentication provider Auth0 (Okta) may set cookies as part of the login process. These are strictly necessary and governed by Auth0's Privacy Policy. We do not control the use of cookies set directly by third parties.

Managing Cookies

You can manage your analytics cookie preferences using the panel at the top of this page. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings — most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies at any time. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from functioning correctly.

For more information about cookies and how to manage them, visit ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time — use the panel above. For your broader rights under UK GDPR (access, erasure, portability, and others), see our Privacy Policy. To exercise any right, contact privacy@aimici.co.uk.
