At AIMICI, we respect your communication preferences and are committed to only sending you marketing materials that you have opted in to receive. This policy explains what marketing communications we may send, how we use your data for marketing purposes, and how you can manage your preferences.

We comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR when sending marketing communications.

What We May Send You

If you opt in to receive marketing communications, we may send you:

Your Consent

We will only send you marketing communications if you have given us your explicit consent to do so. You can provide consent during account registration by ticking the marketing communications checkbox. Consent is entirely optional and is not required to use the AIMICI Platform.

We will never pre-tick the marketing consent checkbox or bundle it with other required consents. Your decision to opt in or out of marketing will not affect your access to the Service or any features within your subscription plan.

How We Use Your Data for Marketing

When you opt in to marketing, we may use the following data to personalise and deliver communications:

  • Email address: To deliver marketing communications
  • Name: To personalise messages
  • Job role and organisation type: To tailor content to your professional context
  • Organisational "AI Group": To tailor marketing communications
  • Subscription tier: To send relevant product and plan information

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may use third-party email service providers to deliver communications on our behalf, and such providers are bound by data processing agreements.

Managing Your Preferences

You can change your marketing preferences at any time by:

  • Clicking the "unsubscribe" link included at the bottom of every marketing email
  • Updating your preferences in your account settings
  • Contacting us directly at privacy@aimici.co.uk

When you opt out, we will stop sending you marketing communications promptly and in any event within 48 hours. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect essential service communications (such as account notifications, security alerts, and billing information), which we may continue to send as necessary for the operation of your account.

Data Retention for Marketing

We retain your marketing preferences for the duration of your active account. If you close your account, your marketing preferences are deleted with it and all marketing communications cease immediately. For full details on data retention periods, see our Data Retention Policy.
